SNAP 2024 offers management aspirants a path to fulfil their management dreams and embark on a promising career journey. It is a national level exam conducted by Symbiosis International University.

SNAP is an online test that assesses candidates in the areas of General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, and Analytical Reasoning. The question format largely remains the same over time, so prepare by solving previous year’s questions and mock tests

Exam Dates

SNAP is an important entrance examination for aspiring candidates who wish to pursue management courses from institutes under the Symbiosis International University. It is held once a year and provides access to 24 management programs. The exam will be conducted on the 10th, 17th, and 22nd of December 2024. The exam will be held online and is a computer-based test. Candidates are advised to take mock tests well in advance of the actual exam date to understand their level of preparation and expected percentile score.

The registration process for SNAP is conducted online and requires basic personal and academic details, document uploads in scan format, and a recent passport-sized photograph. Once the registration is complete, candidates can submit the required application fee and receive their admit card. Applicants must carry their admit cards on the day of the test along with a valid photo ID proof for identity verification and entry into the exam centre.

The SNAP exam will have a multiple-choice question format with four sections and questions of varying difficulty levels. Each section will have 60 minutes to be completed and there is a negative marking scheme of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. The SNAP Answer Key will be released a few days after the exam and will contain all the correct answers to the questions asked in the exam. Once the answer keys are released, candidates can calculate their probable scores and prepare for the GE-PI and WAT rounds.

Registration (Ongoing)

The SNAP registration window opens from 23rd August 2023 and closes on 23rd November 2023. During the application process, candidates must complete all fields of the form with accurate details. They must also upload a scanned copy of their passport-sized photograph for verification. Once the application fee is paid, changes in name, test city, and institute preferences will not be allowed.

Candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 1950/- to begin the registration process. They can pay this amount using online or offline payment methods. Once they have submitted their application, an OTP will be sent to their registered mobile number for verification. After confirming their identity, they will receive an individual SNAP ID and password. They should keep these credentials on file for future login requirements.

Taking mock tests is important for preparing for the SNAP exam. These tests help candidates identify their weak areas and develop strategies to improve their performance. In addition, these tests can help them build confidence and maintain composure during the actual exam.

After the SNAP exam, the authorities will prepare a category-wise final merit list for admissions. The admission procedure will be conducted by the participating institutes. They will release the final merit list for qualified candidates. The merit list will be based on the candidate’s performance in SNAP, GE, and PIWAT. Applicants must check their SNAP scorecard carefully to know the ranking.

This year, the SNAP question paper was changed to include 60 questions. Moreover, the time limit for each section was reduced from 120 minutes to 60 minutes. The general sections included 15 questions, the quantitative section had 20 questions, and the analytical and logical reasoning section had 25 questions. Each question was worth one mark, and a wrong answer resulted in a 0.25-mark deduction. To familiarize themselves with the exam pattern, candidates can take a free SNAP mock test to get a feel of the exam environment and structure.
